The Association of Senegalese in America continues the journey it began in 1989 to invest our resources to achieve specific goals: assist our countrymen who are sick and lay in hospital beds, those who are in custody whether immigration or else; help incoming migrants, invest in forums to enhance their education and understanding vis-à-vis the ways of life in America.
We are not alone in this journey; many organizations like the Murid Islamic Community in America, MICA Inc., the Islamic Tijania Foundation of America. IFTA, Inc., Ansarudeen USA, etc. work with us. Together we are improving the needs in our community.
Solidly grounded in our teranga-based mission, we are honored and humbled to participate in meaningful charitable efforts to enhance the quality of life of our countrymen who live throughout the 50 states of the United States of America. My administration thrives to be innovative and strategic in developing responses to emerging community needs.
We are inviting every Senegalese, if they haven’t done so, to join the efforts of ASA, so together we can achieve our immediate, short term, and long term goals.
Our journey is a work in progress, and together we are committed for a long run.
